How do we handle information literacy in the curriculum? SUNY’s General Education Framework says information literacy is a required core competency. Information literacy research says everyone thinks it’s important, but that everyone thinks someone else should be responsible for it.
Join librarian Paul Bond and professor Karyn Moyer for an interactive discussion on information literacy in the context of general education and SUNY Broome. We will look at information literacy models, particularly for students at 2 year colleges, and discuss what we can do about it.
